About Me
I’m a self-taught full-stack web developer with hands-on experience building modern web applications and professional experience in technical roles within the ad-tech industry. I work comfortably across the stack — from crafting responsive frontends with React, Next.js, and EJS to developing backends with Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and MariaDB.
My projects include authentication systems, booking platforms, payment integrations, REST APIs, admin dashboards, notifications, and third-party service integrations. I enjoy working on the logic behind applications as much as building the user-facing experience.
Since January 2026, I have been working at Phaistos Networks, supporting publisher integrations and troubleshooting technical issues across advertising and video technologies. From September 2026, I will be moving into a Support Engineer role, with a stronger focus on technical investigation, JavaScript debugging, production issues, and web integrations.
Before moving into tech, I spent several years as a Merchant Marine Officer, progressing from 2nd Officer to Chief Officer on oil tankers. That experience taught me discipline, responsibility, problem-solving, and adaptability — qualities I now bring into software development and technical engineering work.
